About Us
Co-created space for creative exploration, rooting, and reclaiming.

Our story
Having come from varied backgrounds in fine arts and psychology, our paths led us to meet at the Kutenai Art Therapy Institute. Through the shared experience of training, clinical placements, and research, we formed a meaningful professional relationship—and a friendship—that continues to shape our work.
Committed to fostering therapeutic spaces grounded in collaboration, care, and feminist values, our practice is rooted in relational healing. Working together allows us the opportunity to create environments where people feel a sense of belonging and connection.
We each offer online individual art therapy sessions and also come together to co-facilitate group therapy and creative workshops. Whether working one-to-one or in community, we’re dedicated to holding space that invites curiosity, safety, and personal exploration.
Our approaches

Madison Traverse BA, DKATI, RTC

Madison is an art therapist with a background in psychology and extensive experience supporting neurodivergent folks. She brings deep care, curiosity, and collaborative creativity into her work, honoring each client as the expert of their own lived experience.
Grounded in relational neuroscience and anti-oppressive practice, Madison’s approach is trauma-informed, person-centered, neuroaffirming, and rooted in the belief that healing happens through relationship, creativity, and meaning-making. Her work integrates art-making, mindfulness, and somatic awareness.
She is passionate about creating safe, inclusive spaces for individuals navigating identity, trauma, and systems of mental health care. Her work centers neurodivergent folks, women, LGBTQIA+ communities, older adults, children and teens, and she holds a special interest in the intersections of art therapy and sexuality, sexual liberation and female empowerment.
